Menu bar app for Mac

Every switch your Mac hides. One click from the clock.

Dark Mode, Keep Awake, your deploys, your 2FA codes and your AI limits, all in one panel up in your menu bar.

Free for 7 days, then $4.99 once · No subscription · macOS 14 Sonoma or later

A short looping demo: a cursor opens Switchy from the menu bar, turns on Dark Mode, watches a deploy finish, copies a 2FA code and checks Claude and Codex usage limits.

See it in action

From the menu bar to done.

No windows and no settings panes. The panel opens, you click, it gets out of the way.

Sixteen switches

Flip it without opening Settings

Dark Mode, Keep Awake, Mute Mic and thirteen more sit one click from the menu bar. Each one works the moment you click it.

Deploys

Know the second your deploy lands

Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, Railway and more show up as a pill in your menu bar. Amber while it builds, green when it’s live.

2FA codes

Copy the code before you reach for your phone

Your one-time codes live right in the panel, counting down. Click one and it’s on your clipboard.

AI limits

See how much Claude you have left

Claude and Codex usage for every account you use. And the minute each limit resets.

Switches

Sixteen switches. Zero settings panes.

The things you toggle ten times a day, plus a few helpers you didn't know you wanted.

Sixteen switches

Dark Mode, Keep Awake, Mute Mic, Do Not Disturb, Stage Manager, DNS and more. Each one is a single click.

Keyboard shortcuts

Put any switch on a shortcut and skip the panel entirely.

Deploys

Amber while it builds, green when it's live, red when it breaks. Your last five, one click away.

2FA codes

Behind Touch ID, synced through iCloud Keychain. Bring them over from Google Authenticator with your camera. Click one to copy it.

AI limits

Claude and Codex limits for every account, with the time each one resets.

Localhost

Every local server on your Mac, by port. Find the one you forgot to stop.

Pomodoro

A focus timer that counts down in your menu bar, not in a window.

Clean Mac

Wipe the keys without typing gibberish. Switchy locks them while you clean.

Deploys

Works where you ship.

Add a token and the menu bar pill follows every build. Tokens are saved in your Keychain.

Questions, answered.

How much does Switchy cost?

Switchy has a 7-day free trial with every feature. No account, card or key needed. After that it’s $4.99, once. No subscription. Your license key works on up to 3 of your Macs and includes every future update.

What happens when the trial ends?

Switchy locks until you enter a license key. Your settings stay as they are, so once you paste your key you pick up where you left off. Deleting and reinstalling Switchy doesn’t restart the trial.

I lost my license key. Where is it?

It’s in the receipt email from Polar, the store that handles payments for Switchy. You can also find it, and free up a Mac you no longer use, in the Polar customer portal.

I launched Switchy. Where's the icon?

Switchy lives in your menu bar, next to the clock. It has no Dock icon or window. On macOS Tahoe, if you don't see it, open System Settings → Menu Bar and turn on Switchy under Allow in the Menu Bar.

Where are my deploy tokens and 2FA secrets kept?

In your Mac's Keychain. Codes can sync through iCloud Keychain, and the Codes tab stays locked until you unlock it with Touch ID.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Some switches, like True Tone, need hardware that supports them.

Flip the switch. For less than a coffee.
